Walking Through Old Town

     Yesterday afternoon, I headed to Old Town, Warsaw to do a bit of exploring. Most of you may already know this, but in case you don't, I wanted to mention that Warsaw was largely destroyed during World War II. After the war, the city was reconstructed to resemble the same look as it had before the war.

 

     Today, the city is thriving and beautiful. There were so many more streets and alleys to explore than I had the time for this weekend, but please enjoy the few spots I was able to capture on camera.

This guy really did not want his photo taken. He kept trying to run away from me.

He eventually decided to turn his back in an apparent effort to make his message all the clearer.
